Lucie-des-Laurentides, 15 minutes from full service of Ste-Agathe des Monts (grocery stores, restaurants, Wal Mart, etc). See map for general directions. |
| Lac Canard is a wonderful private access non-motorized lake, perfect for families just looking for a very peaceful get-away. The lake by our cottage is sandy (no pebbles or rocks - just soft sand!) and we have 80 feet of lake frontage - no docks or steps, just grass and beach. Beach size will vary naturally by the season and by rainfall levels. |

| Summer: The Laurentians really has it all. Festivals for children and adults, wonderful biking, tennis in the local village, world class golf within 15 minutes, and mountian trail horseback riding. But something special very near this cottage is the hiking trails. This cottage is 4 km away from some of the best rated hiking trails in Quebec. Known as Mont Kaaikop, it's peak elevation is 2,500 feet. The mountain is one of the highest in the Laurentians, and towers above the surrounding hills, offering 360 degree views of the region. Mont Tremblant and the surrounding villages can be seen from the summit of Mount Kaaikop. On a clear day, the city of Montreal can also be seen! There are numerous interconnecting trails of varying degrees of difficulty to customize the hike to explore the surrounding lakes and forests. And at the end of the hike, Mount Kaaikop has a nice beach at the bottom to cool off in. It's a great way to spend a day nearby. Winter: Aside from wonderful world class skiing in the area, we are only 0.3 km away from the interconnecting Quebec snowmobile trails. You can get to the surrounding towns and most of Quebec by snowmobile right from our cottage! | Bedrooms 3 Bedrooms. The upper level master bedroom has a Queen-Sized bed. 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level - one with a king bed overlooking lake, one with a double bed. Kitchen Equipped with toaster, coffee maker, microwave, kettle, full fridge/stove, full glasswares and cookwares. Large storage pantry. Kitchen table normally seats 4-6, but has a large expansion leaf on the side that can accommodate up to 8. Living rooms This cottage has 2 living rooms - one upper, one lower. Upper living room has fireplace, 3 seater sofa bed, 2 lounge chairs, 2 full picture windows overlooking lake (and sunset in the evening!). French door that leads right to large deck, front lawn, firepit and beach. Upper living area has large bathroom with 72" x 42" double jacuzzi and shower. Lower living area has a large sectional L couch that opens to a hide-a-bed, TV/DVD with Satellite TV. 1/2 bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms. Walk-out via patio door directly to the grass and lakefront. TELEPHONE AVAILABLE at COTTAGE. Unlimited High Speed Wireless Internet. Bathrooms Upper level full bathroom with new 2-person Zen Jacuzzi bath (6 ft x 4 ft) and separate glass enclosed shower. Lower level 1/2 bathroom. Lac Canard is a cozy chalet with double jacuzzi, lakefront on Lac Canard, 20 minutes from Ste. Agathe, in the heart of the Laurentians. The land is very flat and this cottage has a sandy beach, crystal clear lake, perfect for small children. The water is very shallow and only gradually gets deeper. Ideal for small ones or for those who just like to dip their toes! |
