We have tried to make this as simple as possible. If you are in the Montreal area, we typically like to meet in person, sign a rental agreement (which is your receipt) and we require a deposit of half to reserve the cottage. The balance is typically due the first day of rental - we meet you at the cottage when you arrive. The balance may be due slightly in advance for certain seasons/dates, please inquire.

If meeting is inconvenient or you are out of town, we can make all of the arrangements either by phone or email. We can email you the rental agreement, a map to the cottage, and a supplies list, and arrangements can be made to leave a deposit to reserve the chalet.

What do I need to bring with me?

We supply all bedding, linens, and pillows and there are extra clean sheets in each of the chalets - as well as having an equipped kitchen for normal needs. All that is not supplied are personal toiletties such as towels (kitchen and bath), shampoos, soaps (including dish soap), and paper products such as toilet paper/paper towels. There is excellent grocery shopping 5-15 minutes from the chalets in Ste. Agathe. If you are coming from a distance or by plane, we will provide towels upon request. We also have port-a-cribs and high chairs available to all upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions

I need to say in touch with home while I'm away.

We have a telephone at Tremblant South, Lac Gagnon, West Shore, Lac Canard and Grand Lac cottages. We will give you the phone numbers prior to your rental so you can relay it to family and friends. Ste-Agathe and Deux Lac cottages do not have phones, but get very good cell phone reception. If you are on a "working vacation", each cottage with a phone is internet ready if you have a laptop or computer with toll-free dial-up access.

How do I pay for my holiday?

We will meet you at the cottage on your first day of rental and you will get the cottage key then.

How will I find the cottage?

We will supply you with a directional map either in person or by email when you reserve the chalet. We do not supply directions or addresses on our website to preserve the privacy of those currently staying at the chalets.

What do we do if the weather is not so good?

It's a great idea to always bring some video's or DVD's, books and magazines, playing cards or other favorite games to keep busy with. Please also look at our activities page for ideas. There is always the indoor year-round swimming/pool center at Mont Tremblant that includes year-round outdoor Jacuzzi's. Wear your bathing suit in the snow! Great for couples or families, it has toddler pools as well. Or a day at the Spa with Scandinavian baths or massage treatments by River Diable
( www.scandinave.com ) is also a nice treat.

How far away is dining and shopping?

Depending on the chalet, we are anywhere from 5-15 minutes from family restaurants as well as full grocery shopping. There is also fine dining in Ste-Agathe, and more in the neighbouring villages of Val David, Ste-Adele, St-Sauveur and Mont Tremblant. There is also Big Box Outlet shopping in St-Sauveur.

We have a summary of rates and availabilities on our rates page. We also book partial weeks, week-days, monthly, occasional last minute specials, and other time frames in all months except July/August. Do you allow pets at the cottages?

Yes, we do allow pets at each of the chalets. We do ask that renters abide by municipality bylaws which state that pets should not be allowed to roam unleashed off the property or be allowed to cause a disturbance to neighbouring properties. We also ask that you clean up after your own pet.

Can I bring my Boombox and play it outdoors?

No. Our lakes are very quiet and peaceful places and we like to keep it that way for the enjoyment of all. We (and the municipality) do not permit amplified stereos or car radios to be played outdoors at any time. Sound from amplified stereos bounces off the mountains and lake and can sometimes be heard right across the lake. We supply a small CD/radio at each cottage and it played at half volume is the loudest outdoor music can be. If you would like to listen to music loudly outdoors, please bring an ipod or earphones for your boombox.
